ATMW (ALL TERRAIN MOBILE WELDER) FLASH BUTT RAIL WELDER MODEL

RW50 is a ready for service, in track condition rail welding system. The system is mounted on a DOOSAN DX170W (or similar) excavator high rail equipped system, designed, and manufactured by GOS Tools & Engineering Services Ltd (UK).

The unit is designed to run with high flash point fluid. All cables and hoses are fitted with fireproof shields.

Key Features

  • The system is complete with a diesel engine generator and internal cooling system. An electronic control system is designed to provide a stable welding process according to pre-set parameters, providing high quality welding joints.
  • Hydraulic power is provided by the excavators’ main pump station.
  • Engine driven pumps provide power for the excavator and welder oil circuits.
  • An oil cooling system is integrated with original excavator design.
  • With this equipment primarily intended for use on rail infrastructure (construction and maintenance purposes), the machine is specifically designed and built as a mobile welding machine.
  • Where approved/certified, towing of loads is permitted. An automatic hydraulic and air trailer park braking system (suitable for use with GOS T Series Rail Trailers) is provided at both ends of the excavator.

  • New generation of RW50 machines are equipped with an advanced force discharge hydraulic accumulator system that sufficiently increases the upset speed. This is a crucial feature for modern steel materials.

NB: This equipment can be fitted with any welding head on client demand.
